The real estate business has boomed so much in the past years. Foreclosed homes have become available in the market and there are also plenty who have had an interest in these good valued homes. Today, some people have started recovering from the recession of last year. Beach front properties, condominiums in the city and country homes are still very saleable. Take New York as an example, it has hundreds and even maybe thousands of apartments where people live. One of the most famous properties in that area is the Chelsea Mercantile at 252 Seventh Avenue at 24th Street where Ken Mehlman, a Senior Member of KKR, is one of the owners of the units.

The Chelsea Mercantile is a high end condominium with complete amenities like laundry services, concierge and maid service, children’s play room, ATM, garage, private storage lockers, health club and more. The building was used in 1906 as a factory and from then on had several other purposes. In the year 2000, it was converted into a place which houses luxury condominiums. It has a total of 354 apartments and a total of 108 different layouts. So there are very few units that are similar to each other. This building is very famous to celebrities and like mentioned earlier, other famous people like Ken Mehlman.

So if you have the goods to get a condo as fancy as the ones in Chelsea Mecantile? Why not? A political icon like Ken Mehlman is one of the best proofs you could get in the quality of these condos. An accomplished attorney and campaign manager for the former president George W. Bush will not settle for anything less.

A company’s organizational structure, especially a large company’s, is composed of many branches; each of these positions has their own titles distinct from others. For some people, these differences in titles may seem just like tradition; that is, a position is called by its name because it always has been. However, that is not the only reason titles differ form each other.

A good reason why job differ in title is because the company does not want to experience confusion in rank in the organizational chart. These job titles will help constitute who supervises whom. A job is best to have its own title because having a title different from others defines standing in the company, and thus, pride in one’s own work. In line with this, the employee having a title of his own could sow motivation in their jobs. This motivation, in many ways, is very profitable for the company as a whole. These job titles also exist because the tasks and the duties of all jobs need limitations; and these job titles will construct a wall that limits the works of an employee.

For many people, these job titles seem to be but a footnote in organizing a company, which is why: employees holding their titles should be made aware of the importance of the titles of their jobs.

As a business grows, it will find itself in need of many changes; in how the business is managed and how the management is composed. One of the additions a growing business will have in its managerial organization is the Human resource department. This department has many functions; one of this is performing a job analysis on the different positions in a company, whenever needed. This function, like every function of this department is very sensitive; a single mistake in this activity could cause much to a company.

In starting a job analysis, an analyst always takes into consideration the things that could directly or indirectly affect the results of his activity. A thing that an analyst needs to know, before engaging himself in collecting the data, is to how the information to be collected will be used by the company. Various types of data require different methods of data-collection. To make the analysis more reliable, it is best for the analyst to make sure of the reliability of the employees he will choose to be part of his sample. Their responses to the questions in the questionnaire, or whatever method is being used for the collection of data, will be the pillar of the whole job analysis.

This function of the human resource management is very important for any company. Since every company is composed of various jobs, the performance of these analyses will somehow relate to the company as a whole.

Most university students would prefer having a part-time job as a source of extra income. This may be to help their parents finance their costly university education; or maybe they would like to have the extra cash for their weekly gimmicks; maybe they want to pay their way through post graduate studies; or maybe they would like to save up so they could earn the rights to bum around for a while instead of immediately looking for a job after they graduate.

For whatever reason, college students have always been in search for extra cash. Looking through time, it’s very interesting to note the evolution of ‘the things they do for money’:

It all began with flipping burgers and mopping up floors, closing the fast food in the (then) wee hours of midnight. Now, it’s transformed into being a Starbucks barista, making coffee, serving coffee, clearing ashtrays in the smoking areas until two in the morning.

Before, the university students would tutor their grade school or high school neighbors on their homework and get paid with dinner and a small amount of cash. Now, the neighbor has transformed into a Korean university student- the tutee sometimes even older than the tutor- asking to be tutored on their English-speaking skills. All for a generous amount per hour.

Doing part-time work as a call center agent has no historical reference whatsoever, it is a whole new job description.

Who wouldn’t want to earn easy money? To make bucks at the comfort of your own home, doing your job at your own time and not following any deadly deadlines? To earn money as you sit comfortably in your favorite lounge chair while your mom cooks up your favorite dinner? To not have to get up early and dress up and go to work …

Nope, what I’m proposing is not a dream, not a joke nor a nasty trick. It’s the truth, it’s real and this is what it is, in a single word: Blog!

It doesn’t take much to earn money from blogging. Actually, all you need is a witty language that does not sound boring and a brain overflowing with ideas and opinions about anything and everything under the sun.

All that needs to be done is to create a blog that will be significant and visible in cyberspace. You have to make reviews of the current movies and music. You have to offer your opinions about the latest gadgets and events. In short, you have to be very current with everything and you have to be able to go with the flow and to take your readers with you.

If you have the time and the brains, give it a try and start making your online connections… it won’t take too much effort.
